The first department of Jakarta International University (JIU), the Department of Accounting, was approved by the Minister of Higher Education of Indonesia and will open on September 4, 2018.  I would like to thank all the JIU families for their support and interest in the past six years.

During the first semester, 30 new students will join the new department. In the future, intensive English courses (ESL) for freshmen will be held, and faculty and administrative staff are being recruited. In August 2018, the Ministry of Higher Education will investigate the Department of English Literature and the school introduction will be held for local high schools for the recruitment of new students next year.
